Almost every years the "AMPHIBIAN CLUB" brings together the french speaking scientific community working with amphibian models. These models are mainly the Xenopus species (X. laevis and X. tropicalis) but also the axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum).

The meeting are a unique occasion to have a global view of the work realised with these models. As usual, the Amphibian club is a privileged time for communication and scientific discussion. The younger researchers are particularly encouraged to present their ongoing work.

The communications will cover a number of different biological fields from oogenesis to organogenesis. Due to the recent breakthroughs in the imaging technology, a special session will be dedicated to the tools and methods to image developmental process in vivo. In parallel, practical demonstrations of the two-photon technology will be organised for interested participants.

We hope to see you in Rennes, a city that has easy access by plane or train.
